Michael McNally passed away December 24, 2016. One of eleven children, he has gone home to be with his parents, two rowdy brothers, and a beloved nephew.
After graduating high school, Michael served in the United States Air Force. Upon leaving the Air Force, he pursued his true love which was art and architecture by working many years at a major art museum as well as owning a cabinet-making shop.
He enjoyed coaching youth sports, baking (especially Snickerdoodles), and supporting organizations such as Greenpeace and The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. He was fond of reading, dressing up as Santa Claus and Snoopy for special events, watching Oakland Raiders football and talking politics.
Michael lived his life freely and minimally. While admirable in many ways, his carefree lifestyle later in life did not encourage much saving or extensive planning. He is eligible for a small military benefit for his burial, but unfortunately additional expenses have been incurred to ensure a proper memorial.
