Michael (Mickey) has a new heart!
Michael and Edwin are so grateful for all of your thoughts and prayers. We wanted to show our love for them in return by helping them with living expenses as Michael begins his long journey of recovery.
On February 23rd, Michael underwent a heart transplant in San Diego, where he will need to remain in recovery for the next 3-6 months. In addition to their expenses at home in Las Vegas, Michael and Edwin will now need to additionally pay for lodging, food, gas, and basic everyday needs during their stay in San Diego.
Any of us who have been blessed enough to know Michael can agree that he is one of the most generous, thoughtful, and loving people this world has to offer. There is nothing he wouldn't do for the people he loves. Let's show him that same love back!
