Theresa Adler for Michael

I have started this Go Fund Me Account for Ms.  Adler- for her son Michael's Medical expenses and care.

Ms. Theresa Adler thanks all of you for your concern, support, and prayers over the past five months since Michael's motorcycle accident. They have been a huge help to her and Michael. Some of you have asked how you might be able to assist going forward. Ms. Adler would be extremely grateful for your continued financial support of Michael, as they are incurring costly medical expenses that are not covered by insurance now that he is home with her. 
By the Grace of God, in response to thousands of prayers, Michael has progressed miraculously to being able to walk with assistance. He is now able to go to "out-patient" physical, occupational, speech, and cognative therapies. His jaw is no longer wired shut and he can eat real food! The next phase in his healing is extensive dental work. He will need a bone graft and multiple orthodontic procedures that are not covered under his health insurance. Subsequently, he will require dental implants, also at her own expense.  
Another major focus of Michael's recovery includes his gaining back mobility with his right arm/right hand and left hand. Presently, he is unable to use both of his hands nor his right arm and the prognosis, although good, is that it may take months for the use of his hands and right arm to return.  Because of this, Michael must have  care twenty-four hours a day. Theresa needs to hire care-givers to cover the time when she is working. Unfortunately, this care is also not covered by insurance.
Michael and Theresa have a very long road ahead of them. Theresa expresses her deep gratitude to the         St. Joan administration, her colleagues, parents, and the children who have extended their help, support, and love to her in so many ways. Michael has come so far since the day of his accident. It is truly inspiring to watch him progress each day!  She knows that the money given could greatly assist her financially while providing much needed emotional relief during this difficult time period.  Ms. Adler has devoted so much of her time and talents and has shared them with us in teaching our children at SJA for so many years, including my children. Now it is our turn to help support her and her son.
