Memphis Athletic Ministries

Hi! My name is Lydia Waldrop, Miss Germantown Volunteer 2022.

I am a strong advocate for Memphis Athletic Ministries, and have been involved in their programs for the past several years. I have loved this program since the first day I walked through their doors. I have volunteered as a tutor, mentor, and have even played games with these kids. I thoroughly enjoy my time spent at each location, because I can see that each child is cared for & loved by all the members of the Memphis Athletic Ministries team. First hand, I have witnessed the overwhelming love that these kids endure every day in this program. It is a feeling that is unmatched. These kids spend hours after school hanging out with these coaches completing literacy activities, homework, Bible study, and games.

It is my dream to be able to give back the love that Memphis Athletic Ministries has shown me through the years, with YOUR help! I have a goal of $1,500 for MAM, & I think we can do it! There are several ways in which your donation could help support a child! $2= a pack of pencils, $10= pencil pouch, $20= new backpack, $25= summer academy tuition, $50= 2 kids summer academy tuition !!! THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!!
