Memories for Milena

A month ago my dear friend Milena found that her cancer (which she has fought ferociously for over a year already) had metastasized to her spine and lungs leading the doctors to diagnose her with terminal cancer. This sweet mama may have less than a year with her dear children (11, 5, 4, and 3) and husband. I can’t imagine what it would be like to contemplate my children’s lives going on without me — or thinking about all the things that I would miss. Time is precious, and the time my friend DOES have, she wants to make the most of. It is her dream to create special times that all of her children can treasure with her. My friend is hoping to have one of those special memories be a trip to Disney. It would be amazing if there was a Make-A-Wish foundation for adults, but as there’s not, consider helping my friend make a wish come true, for her and for her children to have that special memory with their mom.
