Memorial of Fred Teasley

Fred Teasley passed away suddenly, early Monday morning, just a few days shy of his 54th birthday. Fred had a big smile, a big heart and as Carolyn says, big ideas. The outpouring of sentiments and love show that Fred was loved by many, if through his music, his slot car racing community, and his family and friends in Minneapolis and Seattle. He will be missed by so many, but the loss will be felt profoundly by his wife, Carolyn.

Fred came into Carolyn’s life after she lost her first husband, Ben, to cancer. Fred and Carolyn met during a time of grief, but they shared a romantic, adventurous love story. Fred swooped into her life, filling her home with love and laughter– and many cats and a recently rescued dog. So many have asked, “What can we do?” and while we will all miss Fred, it is time to rally around our beloved Carolyn. In addition to reaching out and offering support and company, please give. Grief is emotional but also a tangible thing. It is funeral costs and medical bills and co-pays and so many tiny details that must be managed.
