Memorial Fund for the Family of Marc Pankin

It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the extremely tragic and untimely passing of a dear father, brother, uncle and friend, Marc David Pankin. On Saturday, July 8, 2023, Marc and his colleague were returning home from a business trip in a single-engine Cessna 172 when the small plane's tailfin hit a power line, flipped upside down, and crashed into a nearby marsh, trapping both of the passengers inside. While his colleague-- the pilot of the plane-- was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, Marc, the only other passenger, sadly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Marc leaves behind three children, Matthew (24), Liam (12) and Ava (11), who were truly the center of his world. A single father and sole guardian to his two youngest children, they are now left to pick up the pieces in a world without their beloved father. Our family is in complete shock and devastated by this tragic and senseless event-- an event we were never prepared to have to go through. We generously ask for any donations to go towards unexpected costs at this difficult time, as any amount will truly help their family.
