Memorial For Jake, Support For Jen

On Sunday night, my brother left us suddenly. I say "my brother" and also I know he was a brother to so many people; people I have never even met. There are no words to properly summarize how we feel, any of us. Jacob touched so many lives, made so many people feel special, heard, understood on a deep soul level. He was here for so many people in dark times and good, through work and play, and always encouraging and nourishing growth in himself and others.

This fundraiser is twofold: for his memorial service, to help us provide a space for everyone to share their memories, connect, re-connect, honor the great contributions he made to our lives, and to support Jen with anything she might need in this incredibly difficult time. Many times he said to me that his greatest concern was that she be taken care of in his absence, should that ever occur, and here we are, friends. I ask that you give if you can, share if you cannot.
