In Loving Memory of Our Mom Melissa
Spende geschützt
Our family is brokenhearted as we mourn the loss of our beautiful mother, Melissa Frantessa Ruby Pacheco. She passed away on January 18, 2017 peacefully in her sleep at the age of 46. She was a strong woman, great mom, friend to all, and one of the kindest and caring souls on earth.
She fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith until God called her home to rest after a rough couple of years fighting sickness and fatigue. Over the last two years, she was constantly in and out of the hospital fighting pneumonias, infections and COPD.
She would like to be remembered for her loving nature, faith in Jesus Christ, her big family and never ending kindness. She had the fruits of the spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, tolerance, humility and self-control.
She was a jack of many trades…a dialysis technician, sleep technician, CNA, taxi driver, cosmetologists, but her most important job was being a Mom. As a single mother, she raised six daughters and taught us to always, “Stay true to ourselves and do the right thing.” She was the most giving and kind person on earth and would give her last dollar to a stranger in need.
She was the best mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She believed, “a full home was a blessed home” and always welcomed others with open arms. She didn’t have a judgmental bone in her body and always taught us to forgive and help others in need. She enjoyed the simple things in life like a good Coke and New York Cheese Cake and never asked for much--besides a kind smile and genuine hug.
She spent her life giving to others and making others happy. In her last days she most enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandkids and family. Us girls remember our fondest memories playing duck-duck-goose at the park with her. Even while on Oxygen she spent her energy taking her grandkids to the park—a memory we know she will cherish forever.
We find joy in the memories we share with her and will keep her memory alive in our hearts. Although we are deeply saddened by her sudden death, we have comfort in knowing that she died peacefully in her sleep as she took her last breath. God knew she was, too, tired and finally let her get the rest she needed.
She leaves behind a great legacy of six daughters: Linda, Lacie, Lisa, Loraina, La’Ree and Larissa along with their significant others DeMarkes, Jesse, Orlando, Dezerick and Sy and her 10 grandchildren Derrick, Kilee, Jesse, Audrina, Isabella, Kaleb, Zoe, Avaiah, Tessa and Kaileo. In addition she leaves behind her mother, Linda Denise Pacheco, and five sisters Steva, Steffany, Marion and Melinda. She has an endless list of family and friends that are with heavy heart as we grieve her loss. On behalf of her daughters, we want to thank each person that knew and loved our mother.
We are asking our family and friends to support us at this time with anything they can to financially cover the cost of her funeral service and burial. Anything at all will help. No amount is, too, small. Please keep our family in your prayers.
More details of her memorial services will be shared as soon as possible. "Kisses and Hugs"
