Hello All, this is my dear friend Melissa and I am trying to help her out any way I can.  When it rains it pours, but throughout it all Melissa has stayed grounded in the Lord, strong, sweet as can be and a champion for what it means to live a Godly, rooted life. 

Melisa was recently diagnosed with Follicular Hurthle Cell Neoplasm.  This is a rare form of cancer that only has a 50% survival rate of 10 years.  She will be undergoing surgery March 3, but it is everything else that is crashing down around her why she needs any financial help she can get. 

Melissa is a single mom, having to go through a divorce in the middle of this crisis.  If that isn't bad enough, the waste pipe 3 stories above her condo home broke, it has been leaking behind her walls and her home is filled with black mold.  Her home is a construction zone, AND her compromised immune system has made her extremely allergic to black mold.  I witnessed her tongue swelling and passing out coming within 60' of airborne spores.

Melissa has tried staying with friends and everyone has a little mold or mildew in their home which sent her into an anaphalactic spiral.  She has found a couple of hotels with mold-free rooms, but the HOA is refusing to pay for hotel accommodations.  I know she should take her HOA to court, but with all of her medical issues, preparing for surgery, being in the middle of a divorce, and trying to mother her sweet children and keep them calm...it's the last battle she can take on.

She has been sleeping outdoors, in her car, in the waiting room at hospitals, living an almost homeless lifestyle while battling for her life.

I am hoping that by setting up this campaign for her we can fund her hotel stay here in San Diego while she recovers from surgery and her home is under construction.
