Meghan - Fighting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

As many of you know, Meghan our daughter-in-law was diagnosed about one year ago with a rare genetic disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. DMD causes muscles in the body to become weak and damage overtime. This week Meghan was hospitalized again after going into afib. One of her cardiologist said she had a heart attack causing damage. After blood work, MRI, and CT scan she was also diagnosed with Myocarditis, which is inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall. Her Rheumatologist has sent in blood work checking to see if Meghan has an autoimmune disease as well.

Meghan has been hospitalized many times with this disease and no end in sight since there is no cure. Medical bills even with insurance has become a financial burden. Both her cardiologists and Duchenne doctors told her to quit working or she would continue to deteriorate if not. She's not worked since September 2020 and was denied disability. Seth is the only one working and it's not enough.

Meghan and Seth appreciate all the prayers and outpouring of support from family and friends. They would never ask for help as they are the kind that help others in need.

We are raising money to help them out with bills, groceries (denied food stamps), and any expenses they are incurring with this terrible disease. They are struggling mentally, physically, and financially, but she will continue to fight for disability as she is deserving. Any donation to help them will be much appreciated.
