Hospitals in Sri Lanka are on the verge of collapse. The current economic crisis is causing shortages of urgent medical supplies and essential medications around the country, leading to countless preventable deaths. Please help us save lives by providing urgently needed medical supplies and medicines to hospitals around Sri Lanka.
As a result of one of the worst economic crises Sri Lanka has ever seen, hospitals in Sri Lanka have been spread thin by shortages in medical supplies and medications. Intensive Care Units have been particularly affected and urgently require medical supplies to prevent unnecessary deaths. cnn.com/2022/04/15/asia/sri-lanka-hospital-medicine-intl-hnk-dst/index.html
Urgently needed endotracheal tubes to help newborn babies breathe are in short supply, and similarly, patients suffering from heart attacks urgently need medicine such as Streptokinase to dissolve blood clots. We aim to provide medical supplies and medicines to the most severely affected hospitals in Sri Lanka (tinyurl.com/mypky4zx), including:

We will be posting full receipts as well as updates to our donors about the medical equipment we have received on this fundraising page (as was done in our prior ventilator fundraiser: gofund.me/eb49bcfe). Thus, we ask for your help in donating whatever you can. As we receive funds, we will expand this project to provide other medications and assistance to hospitals throughout Sri Lanka.
