Medicine denied by insurance to save Elizabeth
Donativo protegido
I don’t know if a million dollars is crazy but that’s what’s needed for this medicine to save Elizabeth’s life, her life that she has been fighting for most of her childhood along with her younger sister, Charlotte.
they don’t get to live a normal childhood, they miss every holiday, every birthday every school event because they are fighting for their lives in the hospital. They found medicine that has helped tremendously but it’s being denied by insurance. We need everyone’s help

Update on Elizabeth
Elizabeth remains in the PICU and is still fighting. Anyone who knows her, knows she isn’t a kiddo who is going to give up a fight and every person who walks into her room comments on her bravery and spirit. I don’t know how much energy I have to try to go into every detail. This is incredibly difficult, but I wanted you all to know that she is fighting pretty dang hard and holding on.
I also wanted you all to know that ucsf has determined the reason Elizabeth went into a Myasthenic crisis was because of the negligence of our insurance company being unwilling to approve her medication, that is clearly life saving, for many weeks. Our insurance will still not approve her medications on an inpatient basis, even though she is in critical condition fighting for her life.
Ucsf is paying for her infusions since our insurance will not.
Please keep our sweet girl in your thoughts and help her hold on a bit longer! We just need time for her medicine to work.
