Medical & Transport costs for Cancer Treatment!

Hi I am Nicole and I have started this Go Fund Me for my Dear Friend Tina and her 13 yr old son Fabian.

On 9/30/2021 a routine doctor's appointment to get a lump on his leg checked out turned into every parents nightmare.

They were shuffled from one doctor to another and then sent to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. Once there they were again sent to a dozen different doctors of the course of two days. After 4 days in the hospital and many anxious hours waiting they received the devastating news that 13yr old Fabian has a rare form of Lukemia, that is even more rare in children. He has been diagnosed with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm  (BPDCN). Fabian will have a PET scan tomorrow to find out just what all they are dealing with and come up with an aggressive treatment plan. He will have his first round of chemotherapy tomorrow and they will be required to drive to Luries at least once a week for treatment. Fabian is a fun loving big hearted adorable giant. He is always making everyone around him laugh and is a friend to everyone he meets. He is a Varsity Football player for the Morris Chiefs, in the middle of his last season of youth ball. Missing football had been one of the most devastating things to Fabian, as he wants to be there to help his team! Tina has 3 other children at home including a 1yr old that she is trying to care for while being at her son's side during this terrifying time.

I started this Go Fund Me to raise any money possible to help pay for travel expenses such as gas, parking costs (that are astronomical), and help pay any other bills as Tina is missing work during this time. If nothing else say a quick prayer for this family during this very difficult time.
