Medical Equipment for Thomas

Every dollar of this fundraiser will be used to provide Thomas with a better quality of life.

 

Thomas is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and is a survivor of brain damage. His sister, Monicka, has been his primary caregiver since their mom passed away when they were both teenagers in the 90s. In 2015, the two survived a house fire that destroyed all of Thomas' medical equipment, including a wheelchair and medical-grade bed. Since the fire, Thomas has been bed-bound, in a less than ideal bed, without access to a mobility device that is a proper fit.

 

The top priorities of this fundraiser are to provide Thomas with a wheelchair and medical-grade bed. If this campaign exceeds its goal, the excess funds will be used to supply Thomas with additional much-needed accommodations. This includes, but is not limited to, a wheelchair-accessible van and a living space with more room that will allow Monicka to use a lift to move Thomas in and out of bed.
