Medical Emergency Recovery for Amber

For everyone who knows Amber, she has worked and pushed herself hard her whole life. From being a teen high-school mother of 2, to nursing school while working full time. Twice. She has served her community as a nurse at our Olean General community hospital for over 10 years now, helping the lives of thousands of people in our little town and surrounding areas. Over the last year and a half her health has significantly declined. Even though she was getting sicker and sicker, she still put everyone before herself because that's who she has always been. Last week amber was hospitalized and has been hospitalized for 7 days, unable to work. She was and is severely ill, malnourished and weak. She is finally home but she has a long road to recovery and the next few weeks are critical for her to ensure her continued recovery. It will take weeks of resting and focusing on herself in order to get her health back on track. She has not been able to work for over a week and will not be able to work for the next few weeks in order to ensure she will be around for a long time for her children. As someone who has never asked for anything for herself, the person who has always done for everyone else needs help from the community. I know times are really tough for everyone and we'd appreciate even a simple kind story if Amber's ever made a difference in your life and a prayer. She needs all the positivity and push to get better at this time ❤️. I love my sister so so dearly and our family is not ready to lose her.
