Funeral and burial costs

When Rafaela Lugo was diagnosed with dementia over a decade ago her only wishes were that she wanted to hit the age of 100 and that she never wanted to be placed in a nursing home. She wanted her final years to be surrounded by her family. This year she turned 102 and we have done everything to make sure she was taken care of so she could be at home. Unfortunately her health has diminished rapidly in the past week. Medical and caregiving costs have put us into debt. We don’t know how long she will be with us but we are trying to make her last days as comfortable as possible. We took out a loan to help cover costs and pay for her funeral and burial so we are prepared for the inevitable. All money collected will go towards paying back the $15,000 loan and to help continue giving the best quality of life we can possibly provide
