Medical Care for The Decompression Center Dogs

With the community’s help, Behavior in Context - The Dog Decompression Center has rescued a total of 6 dogs from the Santa Clara County Animal Shelter’s euthanasia lists. (thank you!!!) We now need to do a big fundraising push to cover additional important start up costs. Our next focus is to ensure the dogs have the best quality of life possible while they work towards their forever homes by providing them a safe space to run, play, and train off-leash - more choice, more freedom!
Our non-profit rescue, lead by Alex Onitsuka, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, LSHC-S, FFCP, offers Low Stress Handling and Fear Free Training. (think choice and empowerment!) Dogs in our care are given sufficient time to decompress and just be dogs!
The funds will be used for medical care for all 6 residents, estimating $500 per dog for: routine check up, blood work, urinalysis, and fecal test.
