Medical care for baby Braelyn Haddix

Me, Alisha and Eddie and Melissa Suter ask for your help:

This is a fundraiser created by those of us who care, who want to lift up and help baby Braelyn, Frank & Danielle and the rest of the Haddix family.  Baby Braelyn was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition.  We ask for prayers and financial donations to help the Haddixes.  These are good people who have helped and influenced many in our community in a positive way and now is time to give back.

I’ll let Braelyns mother Danielles words describe the situation and the agony of it:

“I want to scream at the tops of my lungs in agony, but I can’t because I feel like someone has knocked the oxygen out of my body.

What you see in front of me is our 1 year old, sweet baby girl being transferred from one hospital to University of Maryland to begin what seems like is going to be a long road.

At 3:30pm today, Braelyn began crying and was inconsolable, which is completely unlike her. At 5pm, my husband and I decided to take her to the Pediatric Urgent Care, where they assessed her and advised us to take her straight to the ER. We did. Once at the ER, they ran a series of tests. They found a large mass in the right side of her belly. So large that her organs have all been shifted over to the left side of her belly, to make room for this tumor. They said that her liver is enlarged, indicating that it may be involved with this tumor. They mentioned the “C” word, but are not certain. They then called a team of specialists at University of Maryland Medical Center, who advised transport by ambulance to their facility. So here we are.

I am numb. My husband is broken and our daughter is terrified and just wants us to take her home.

This is a terrible nightmare that I cannot wake from.

Please, ALL OF MY PRAYER WARRIORS, PRAY, BEG, PLEAD with him to heal our baby and give her back to us whole. Please.”
