Medical bills - Going home fund for Laura Avers

The funds raised will be used for medical bills and costs related the memorial for Laura Avers. Our hearts break as we say goodbye to our dear friend but we have hope that she is in the arms of her loving savior, Jesus. Please see updates below for information regarding the memorial service on June 27th.
A few days ago Laura was admitted to the hospital with various symptoms related to a kidney infection and fall. This resulted in her being transferred to a hospital in New Hampshire that is 2 hours away from her home. Her husband Mark is unable to visit at the hospital due to Covid restrictions but is able to be at the hotel across the street from the hospital. She is currently in ICU due to complications from the fall, a kidney infection, and a blood infection. Yesterday she needed to be intubated . Please pray for her body to begin to respond to treatment of the infections and that the doctors would have wisdom on how to move forward. The funds raised will be used to cover out of pocket medical expenses, along with hotel costs for Mark to be close to her.
Mark and Laura have impacted me greatly in my life. From being influential to me coming to believe in Christ, to mentoring me in my spiritual walk with God, to supporting my family as we live in Cambodia and minister to the poor. I wish to do something while being on the other side of the world unable to hold their hands and comfort them. They have not asked but I am sure it would be a relief to not feel the stress of medical bills and expenses related to this crisis. Please donate a little or a lot and share with others that may find themselves in a position to help.
