Medical and Prosthetic Leg Expenses for Nicolas

Hi, my name is Marlen Perez .

I am the daughter of Nicolas Perez 44 Year-Old.

He has been fighting with Diabetes Mellitus over 20 years.

On August 4, 2022 he was hospitalized in the state of Michigan.

Many know that those with Diabetes have a higher risk of lower limb amputation, due to wounds and ulcers that don’t heal properly . As well as high blood sugar levels that increases more risks of foot related complications .

My father has always worked in the fields, that’s why he was in the state of Michigan picking Blueberries , sadly he got wounds and ulcers that never properly healed correctly on his lower limb due to him working daily under the hot burning sun where as well not only sweat but dirt , fertilizer, etc. Interfered in the process of his wounds healing properly, but he had no choice he had to work in order to provided for him and his bills .

Sadly the wounds and ulcers on his lowers limbs lead him to getting his leg amputated. With his leg amputated his whole world turned upside down for him

As of right now he is Michigan by himself all his family is here in the State of Florida.

That is why I am asking for help with some donations , for medical expenses as well as he will be needing a prosthetic leg. Due to him not being able to work for a period of time .

Soy hija de Nicolás Pérez de 44 años.

Lleva 20 años luchando contra la diabetes mellitus.

El 4 de agosto de 2022 fue hospitalizado en el estado de Michigan.

Muchos saben que las personas con diabetes tienen un mayor riesgo de amputación de las extremidades inferiores, debido a heridas y úlceras que no se curan correctamente. Así como niveles altos de azúcar en la sangre que aumentan más riesgos de complicaciones relacionadas con el pie.

Mi padre siempre ha trabajado en los campos, es por eso que estaba en el estado de Michigan piscando blueberries lamentablemente tuvo heridas y úlceras que nunca se curaron correctamente en su extremidad inferior debido a que trabajaba a diario bajo el sol ardiente, donde también no solo sudor, sino también suciedad, fertilizantes, etc. Interfirió en el proceso de curación de sus heridas correctamente, pero no tuvo más remedio que trabajar para mantener a él y sus facturas.

Lamentablemente, las heridas y úlceras en las extremidades inferiores le llevaron a que le amputen el pie . Con el pie amputada, todo su mundo se puso patas arriba para él.

El ahora está en Michigan por sí mismo, toda su familia está aquí en el estado de Florida.

Es por eso que estoy pidiendo ayuda con algunas donaciones, para gastos médicos, así como que necesitará una pierna protésica. Debido a que no puede trabajar durante un período de tiempo.
