Kim's Breast Cancer Medical Treatments

If you consider yourself even a casual member of the "NYC Running Scene," chances are you've run into Kim Rodrigues, one of the pillars of our community and a friend to nearly every person who crosses her path. Kim's years of friendship, wisdom, warmth and support have been invaluable to the growth of our culture and without her welcoming spirit, many runners both local and visiting would've likely never had the positive experiences and takeaways from joining a club run, whether it was with the infamous NYC Bridge Runners, NikeNYC, or any number of other pop-up runs.

Kim has shared with us her latest and toughest life challenge yet: beating breast cancer. We all know that she is tough-as-nails with a warrior's heart, but unfortunately, we also live in a country with some of the most severe and expensive fees when it comes to healthcare.

So now is our chance to support and uplift Kim, just as she has done for each of us during a tough run or a moment of self-doubt.
