As most of you know my brother Josh was in a tragic car accident in Tucson Arizona. My family and I flew down as soon as we could knowing that the odds of him waking up was not good. When we arrived we didn’t know how we would start this impossible task in front of us. That’s where TJ family came to aid. The support we received from TJ family and Josh”s village of friends that love him was a god send. My family hadn’t even met TJ and he was already family. As we went through the days of being by Josh’s side and saying our goodbyes we realized that even though we want to bring Josh home we knew Josh had two homes one in Wisconsin and one in Arizona.
Josh was a strong believer in volunteering and helping the environment. He was only 29 years old but spend the better half of his life working with so many platforms for the environment and animals. He didn’t have just one favorite animal or species. He loved and knew them all. One of the zoo keepers told us “Josh knew almost all the animal routines here and if he was here he would have learned the rest too”

As part of his funeral services in Wisconsin, we also want to have a second service in the future for Josh in Tucson after we have healed some and Josh is laid to rest. Joshs life was working with animals whether it was a farm animal growing up or a zoo animal his love for them was indescribable. The day after Josh passed my family decided to visit his zoo. While walking through we realized this is where Josh should be remembered along with Wisconsin. So in additional to the cost of the services of bring josh home and his burial my family would like to have a donation to the zoo he was at and a place in the zoo with Joshs name on it. Thank you for everyone who can help contribute to make this come true.
