Mommas for Max
Donation protected
As you likely know by now, last month Max Ligertwood was diagnosed with a tumor in his abdomen. It is a rare form of cancer, and the family has been through a whirlwind of hospital stays, procedures, clinic visits and oncologists ever since. Happily, he has been given a positive prognosis and, although the Ligertwood's have a long and difficult road ahead, he is expected to recover.
Max is receiving treatment for juvenile cancers at Texas Children's Hospital. Your generous donation will certainly help with the expense of his ongoing therapy and treatments, as well as with Mia's school costs. I can guarantee you that your donation will go directly to the Ligertwoods.
By the way, my name is Keely and I live here in Houston - in fact, I have twin boys who are Mia's age and a little girl who is Max's age --- so Melana and I have quite a bit in common! I am part of Melana's mom's group (hence the name "Mommas for Max" as we are the ones who wanted to help start this campaign to help out).
