Help Max replace his tired old drum kit

Craig Rodda, also known as Max, has been playing drums in many bands in Adelaide since the 1980's. Notably with the Screaming Believers, Exploding White Mice, Double Wammy, The Idea of Light, and many others.

Along with many musicians in Adelaide, I have had the pleasure of playing in bands with Max. I am sure those musicians will agree, that Max is a legendary drummer in the Adelaide music scene. Max has an old Ludwig drum kit, which has served him well over the years, but is starting to look a bit shabby and sound a bit ordinary.

Now Max, who currently gets around using 2 walking sticks, due to a hip injury, is a part time music teacher. At the best of times, Max struggles to make ends meet on his part time wage. He was hit pretty hard during Covid times, with little work available. Max is also due for surgery on his hip, which will put him out of work for another few months.

As a friend and fellow musician, I have taken it upon myself to organise a fund raiser, to help Max purchase his dream drum kit. A Black Oyster Ludwig Kit. Max would never ask for this help, but I am sure that many of the musicians who have played with him, would surely be happy to chip in financially to help him achieve this goal.
