My name is Cyndi Frisby and I am wanting to raise money for my friend and his family.
A serious accident occurred on the early morning of October 5th when my friend, Matt Istwan, totaled his car. He has suffered many injuries, has undergone 3 surgeries, and is expected to be wheelchair-bound for at least 4-6 weeks. Once he is released from the hospital he will be transferred to Rusk Rehabilitation for a couple of weeks.
As you can imagine right now is an incredibly difficult and painful time for Matt and his family. Matt will need a lot of time to heal, and I would like to try to provide some sort of financial relief for him through raising some funds. I can’t imagine the medical bills and expenses that he will incur. Matt and Tracy have 2 beautiful young girls and I think that they have enough to deal with just getting Matt through all the surgeries and minimizing his pain. It would be nice if we, his friends and family, could take away some of the stress and help in any way we can.
The funds raised here will go towards their incurring medical costs and family needs. Many of you may not know this, but Matt had to close Déjà vu Comedy Club and was preparing to start a new job in November, so things have already been tight and stressful even before this accident. The sooner we can raise money the better so that there is no more added stress during this difficult time.
