Matthew: living for a liver

I'm Matthew Chapman, and I'm a little scared...

Living with end stage liver disease and waiting for a transplant, I'm going strong. But I have had symptoms of neuropathy and nerve pain, itching, stiffness, wasting (160) and worse, encephalopathy causing ammonia in
my brain and creating confusion and dementia...

I'm also disabled with no income. SSDI has not been approved!  Waiting 2 years... All savings are gone, but expenses build up. I have MediCal, but nothing to pay other expenses. When disability kicks in, I will give the remainder to the Healing Well, where I am a client and volunteer, providing classes and counseling free for Tenderloin residents.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I wish no one ever has to go through this. But at least I am not alone!  Love, Matthew
