Matthew bastin medical and family

My name is Brittany, Matthew and I have four beautiful children We are raising together. while I was at work. Matthew was watching the children when he unexpectedly had a brain aneurysm rupture leaving him unable to speak or function correctly, his motor skills gone. Luckily I was able to get an ambulance there in time. Two helicopter rides. And three hospitals in which we ended up in Myrtle Beach where they performed a surgical coil procedure putting five coils in the aneurysm. He currently still has blood lingering, which causes a great deal of pain. Last night in the initial procedures site begin bleeding into his Groin area causing a very quick buildup of blood. There have been a few complications along the way and we have a long recovery road ahead he’s predicted to be in the hospital in the Neuro ICU. For a minimum of one month. He is currently on quite a cocktail of meds Between pain meds, nausea anti-seizure Etc. we had so much good going for us. And we are very lucky. We made it to safety in time. Matthew currently does not have medical insurance, and will be out of work for quite some time, leaving myself responsible for all the children. Regular expenses, and everything medical. Ideally asking for help is not something I am comfortable with. However, we are in the impossible situation and will have to figure out how to make it work. He is alive and I couldn’t ask for more. I want to make sure that I can keep everyone’s head above water, so he has a home to come home to. I will be continuing to work as best I can and be here for him and the kids. But I simply don’t have super powers. I want to thank everybody who reached out and I will continue to update through social media on his progress and I want to thank everybody for the endless support.
