Masuwe Primary School, Zimbabwe
Donation protected
One donation of $60 will pay for a child's fees for an entire year.
As former volunteers of the Nakavango Conversation Programme in Victoria Falls, we want to make a tangible and sustainable difference the lives of the teachers and pupils at Masuwe Primary School.
We all know the importance of a good education but many of the parents cannot afford the $60 a year school fees. As a result, the teachers have not taken a salary for TWO YEARS, such is their dedication to the children.
We plan to provide a regular income stream to the headmistress to help support her staff and children through the following:
- Unpaid school fees ($60 per year)
- Unpaid teaching salaries
- Tools to help build teacher's accommodation
- Books for the school
- Shoes and uniforms for the children
- Set up a monthly lunch program
- Seeds for the vegetable garden

We will update this page with progress reports as each of these initiatives are implemented.
