Nurse battles cancer while trying to save her home

Mary, a registered nurse for over 20 years (from North Providence, Rhode Island) has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, with her rising medical bills she might be forced to lose her home. Mary’s young son, Nick, who lives with her, is not able to work or go to school at this time because he is her full time caregiver. He takes Mary to chemotherapy and he assists Mary with her daily care and emotional needs. He is her primary source of support. Due to these circumstances, Mary and Nick are in a dire situation right now. I have known this wonderful family for almost 25 years. Mary and Nick are the most kind and caring people and it pains me to see what they are going through. Any assistance at this time would be greatly appreciated.
