On august 24th my best friend's Mom, Mary was driving home from her friend's house heading onto Portland Ave in Tacoma when she was hit by a DRUNK and HIGH 17 year old driving a truck going 70 miles an hour. (35 limit). Mary had to be removed from her mangled car and she was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries and bleeding from her brain. The 17 year old was taken into custody and released the next morning.

Mary is still going through facial reconstruction and hematoma draining at the moment and cannot speak.

Mary is no longer able to work and she will be going thought physical therapy for months to come. This should have not happened to her.

I am hoping that we can fundraise money to help with her medical bills and care.

Mary is the most caring person you'll ever meet. She treats everybody with love and we are all her sons and daughters. I have come to see her as "Mom".
