Mary Fe was 49 years old and a loving mother to 10-year old sweet girl, Elisha.

Mary Fe has worked hard her whole life to ensure a good life for her family. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and went through chemotherapy. She was declared cancer free in 2020. In 2023 she was diagnosed with brain tumour and had surgery. She went through radiation and chemotheraphy, however, the cancer cells have metastasized and spread throughout her body. She passed away today, April 12, 2024.

She has a large family network in the Philippines. She wanted her remains to be re-patriated back to her hometown in La Union and to be buried there.

Her husband and daughter who lives in Canada, will accompany her remains and ensure her wishes are carried out. This will allow them to be with their family and to have closure through ceremony and begin their healing journey, which no doubt, will be for the rest of their lives.

The cost for the re-patriation of her remains is greater than $15, 000 CDN and unfortunately there is no funeral policy in place which will cover these costs. The remaining amount will cover for funeral expenses and her husband and daughter's airfare.
