Mary Carpenter Medical Fund

In December 2017 my sister Mary was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer after having a total thyroidectomy. Recently she had a radioactive iodine treatment as a secondary measure to treat the cancer. Both of these treatments have resulted in an excess of medical bills, and there are only more coming in. Additionally she needs dermatological treatment for a spot on her skin and, potentially, speech therapy or surgery for the hoarse voice that she was left with after the thyroidectomy.
