This platform is to honor Marquis Lee Daniels who was loved by so many. He was in a fatal car accident and did not make it to see his birthday this week, he would have been 17 years old on Thursday December 19th. Marquis was an Aim High alum and current Skyline High School student. He was his mothers only child and Quis was like a son to me. Quis had the biggest smile and the loudest laugh. He was a shining ray of sunlight and lit up any room he was in. Marquis was a friend, brother, and family to so many people. He truly touched all those that he met, always had a smile and laugh that made you forget any worries you had. Marquis was charismatic, smart, and although cut much too short he had a vibrant, happy, and positive outlook on the life he lived. I personally will oversee the funds given directly to his mother Tarie Richmond as an monetary donation of our support during this incredibly difficult time. Unfortunately in their accident they were unable to recover his body, but we will be sure that Quis is specially celebrated to honor him and his memories with each person whom he touched while he was with us. Marquis would want us to laugh, smile, and celebrate. He was the life of the party and filled with joy, we plan to use each dollar donated to give him a beautiful celebration of life. All we can do is love and appreciate who Quis was, and with your help we can do it the right way. Thank you all so much for your love, prayers and support.
