Dear Friends and Family of Margaret Herring,
Some of you might have heard that Margaret has had a few health issues arise in the past few weeks, a slight stroke with a few small after-effects (tied to a now-remedied bout of atrial fibrillations). This has all been well managed, and we are looking forward to a strong recovery.
For several reasons, made clear from this experience, Margaret, and those working close with her, have decided it is best to relocate Margaret up to Victor’s house near Boston. Here she will have more continuous company, and assistance at the ready. Doing this well is requiring renovation in Victor’s house. (We are converting a three-season porch to a well-lit, well insulated bedroom, which gives her direct, 1st floor access to the kitchen and bathroom.) We are putting the word out to Margaret’s friends and family that, if you wanted to help this work to happen with any kind of donation, this would be immensely appreciated. The cost of renovations is $20,000.
It is understood that for many of us, at this time especially, times are quite hard. Please know that sending love, prayers, and strong wishes for well being is every bit as important, and means much more to us than money. Margaret deeply values the way we have lived, and worked, to make this world better, and above this: our inner connection in our struggle. She is also no stranger to hard times herself.
