Don protégé
Marcos Garcia was a handsome, caring and sweet young man who's life revolved around friends, school and especially soccer. Anyone who knew Marcos, knew he was a very talented soccer player. He wore his idol Cristiano Ronaldo's number: number 7 every time he was on the field. Which was no surprise because he lived, breathed and slept soccer. He was a very popular young man who became friends with everyone he encountered. He was also a beloved son, brother, cousin and incredible uncle. He had big dreams and was trying to find his place in life.
On June 8, 2017, Marcos Garcia decided to have some friends over at his house to celebrate the first day of summer vacation. Like typical children at his age, they were playing video games, laughing, eating chips and passing the day. Unfortunately, the day took a turn for the worse when they decided to take the pellet rifle out to shoot the squirrels and one of his friends accidentally shot Marcos in the heart. His friends ran to the neighbor for help and called 911, but it was too late. No mother can prepare for this tragic moment. We all lost an amazing, sweet friend and family member at just 15 years of age. I lost my brother.
I am asking all my friends and family, as well as all who knew Marcos, to help by financially supporting Marcos Garcias funeral and burial expenses. We want to provide him and his mother the ceremony he truly deserves. Any amount you can give is helpful.
I cannot thank everyone enough for the love, prayers, help and support we have already received since the passing of my brother. I would like to end with this quote by Ernest Hemingway "No one you love is truly lost." Thank you again!
