Manny Popoca was a writer, interviewer, blogger and creator.  More than anything he was an amazing human being. Married for twenty years, Manny was a dedicated husband and a loving father to his two children. On June 26th, Manny's life was unexpectedly and tragically cut short. 

Manny was a blogger for Moviepilot.com and founder of his own entertainment news site PopCultHQ. He was a regular on the Comic-con circuit promoting events and getting interviews with actors, writers, directors, artists and celebrities. He loved all things entertainment. Comic books, movies, television, art, theater and Comic-con events.

I, like many, knew Manny as a friend. He was genuinely interested in people. He cared about them. Everyone. He was a unique, talented, artistic, beautiful person. 

His death was a shock to everyone, even his immediate family. Because of the nature of Manny's passing, certain costs are not covered by insurance.  With the family's permission, I am asking everyone to please donate to help lay him to rest. These funds will go directly to Manny's wife Jessica and her two kids Jordan and Zakery. The funds are needed soon as money is being spent to cover funeral costs that the family does not have.

Please help us help his family get through this difficult time. It would ease an terrible burden on three wonderful people.
