Mama Amelias Orphanage Mfuleni South Africa

My name is Croz Crossley and I have been supporting this orphanage for a few years now. It was started by wonderful lady called Mama Amelia.

Mama was a charismatic lady and created a network of people and companies that supported the orphanage, unfortunately Mama died last year and her support network died with her as it was never written down, that has created serious problems.

When I visited last week things were desperate, the lady who took over  and her staff have not had any wages since Mama died.

It was heartbreaking to see this wonderful facility in the middle of an African Township being faced with closure.





It is impossible for us to imagine real poverty where people literally live hand to mouth. All the time Mama was alive she managed to keep things afloat but now things are really dire and I would like to raise some money to give them some respite.

The only government aid this orphanage receives is 75p per child per day and that has to include everything they require.

Please help them by making a donation. You can be assured that every bit of money donated will go straight to the kids and will be so appreciated.
