Maliek on his boxing journey

Hello, my name is Jonine, and I am the proud mother of the Regional Southeastern Golden Gloves 2023 Champion Maliek Lawson.

He is the youngest of 5 children at 18 years old. He has been boxing since he was 14 years old and has a pure determinant goal of going to the 2024 Olympics in Paris France.

He is a very humbled and considerate youngman with strong beliefs in God and family. He will be traveling to the Golden Gloves Nationals in 1 weeks to compete for the national title in his weight class of 147 lbs. After this he will be competing in Lubock Texas in June at the Summer Feastival for the opportunity to win and obtain an invitation for the Olympic tryouts in December 2023 in the 139 lbs weight class.

We are very excited about the promise of his successful future in boxing.
