Local 731 union brother, Joe Fitzgerald​, had an accident on December 3rd, 2018. He's been in the hospital for nearly three months now. Because of the way his legs were positioned for several hours when his sister found him it has caused major damage to  his legs and he's had to have multiple surgeries so far. He still has a very long road ahead of him and unfortunately he will be wheelchair bound. A couple of union guys have volunteered to help with labor to make his basement apartment where he was living more accessible to him once he gets released from the hospital. They're trying to raise some money to help with the materials, if anyone could donate that would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will be going directly to his mother, Kathleen Colgan Fitzgerald.
