Cancer can strike anyone, anywhere, anytime. It does not discriminate. 1 in 2 of ALL Australians will suffer a form of cancer in their lifetime.
To watch a loved one go through the gruelling process of chemo, radiation, or in some cases; a combination of both, is completely heartbreaking. Let alone the impact it has on the sufferer.
This page is not so much a personal plea, but an open invitation. I urge you all who have been affected by cancer of any type, in any way, either personally, or vicariously, to donate to this cause. All funds will be donated directly to Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Somewhere that has recently provided immense support for someone very close to me.
Not only do they invest heavily in cancer research programs, but also in support services for sufferers and their families.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be a contribution in the fight to kick cancers butt!
