Madelynn Giese Medical Recovery Fund

As many of you know, Madelynn Giese was in a horrific car accident, Friday, Jan. 24th in Blanco County and was airlifted to an ER in Austin where she miraculously survived. She is in a coma, on a ventilator in critical condition with multiple skull fractures and brain bleeds, collapsed lungs, injured spleen, and multiple broken bones to include a severely fractured pelvis that will require surgery and placement of hardware.

She has just now begun to open her eyes for brief moments when asked which is a great step forward. However, she has a very long road ahead that will require substantial medical care in her recoveries to include months of inpatient rehabilitation. Christi hasn’t left her side and will continue to be the amazing mom she is!

We, their friends, are rallying to assist in lessening their burdens. Christi is self employed and has no sick pay or PTO - and basically no work means no pay. Please find it in your hearts to help us in our fundraising efforts. Anything will help as they struggle to put their lives in a new order.
