Megan Baldwin Scholarship Fund

Megan was one of my students who reminded me of the struggle that it is to be a learner.  She was hard on herself, expected great things from her future, knew what she believed and challenged me on a daily basis.  Teaching students like Megan was an honor and it made me a better teacher.  Sadly, I never got to find out what Megan's life ended up becoming.

We lost our Megan during her senior year due to a car accident.  Megan's loss impacted me in a profound way and I wanted to help make sure that her life was always remembered.  One of the ways that we choose to honor Megan and what her life was about is with a scholarship. Each year we recognize a college-bound young woman at the spring honors night at DHS who is headed into a field of applied science and will graduate from Megan's alma mater, Dacula High School.  

College is so expensive and if we can help remember Megan and help another young person make the transition into college a bit easier, we endeavor to do just that.
