Help JJ Get Back on the Road

Our dear friend John “JJ” Weidmann has had a streak of terrible luck that no one deserves—especially not someone as selfless and dependable as he is.

Just recently, JJ was involved in a head-on collision after sliding on black ice. By the grace of God, no one was seriously injured, but the car was completely totaled. This alone would be enough of a setback for anyone…but for JJ, it was only the latest blow in what has been a long and painful run of car trouble.

Only a month earlier, the car he is still currently financing suffered a catastrophic engine failure—just two days after the warranty expired. The terms he got the car under weren’t ideal, but he took the deal because he needed reliable transportation to start a new job he cares deeply about. Before that, yet another car gave out on him as well.

In just a couple of years, JJ has lost three cars—all due to circumstances completely out of his control.

For anyone who knows JJ, you know he is the type of person who shows up for everyone. He gives without expecting anything back. He helps whenever he can. He’s the friend you can call at any hour, and he’ll be there—no questions asked.

Now, he needs a little help.

And we’re hoping this community can come together and give JJ the break he so truly deserves.

Our goal is to help JJ replace the engine in the car he is financing so he can get safely back on the road, keep the job he loves, and finally put an end to this exhausting string of setbacks. With the holidays upon us, we hope this GoFundMe can bring him some much-needed relief and a fresh start going into the new year.
