Young Republicans

Hello! I'm Griffin Deitrick, a film student at the University of Central Arkansas, and producer of the undergrad thesis short film, Young Republicans. This satire tells the story of Meri, a young Hispanic woman, being inaugurated as the first female president of her high school's Young Republicans club. With the help of our donors, Young Republicans will be an entertaining satire that simultaneously acts as a warning sign for the dissemination of conservative ideals to the youth in a post-Trump, sound-bite, virtue-signaling world.

Shooting for Young Republicans is slated for early March, 2023, and we need your help to make it a reality! Our goal is to raise $8,000 for this film. These funds will help provide meals, transportation, and lodgings for our cast and crew, as well as provide things like props, costumes, locations, and much more to help both realize this film's Deep South, hyperpolitical setting, as well as assemble a stellar ensemble cast.
