Tova's College Fund

As many of you may or may not have noticed, my wonderful mother Bridget Brown has been struggling with her health for a few months now. In June she was brought into the ICU due to dangerously low sodium levels, however the situation was much more. During her 2 week stay at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer which is currently at a very aggressive stage. After several days of observation and discussions with the medical staff, we decided to focus on quality of life as further treatment would do more harm than good. We are extremely grateful to have her home in the Berkshires where we can spend more time with her.

With these complications, there has been an incredible stress on my family's financial situation. Between the costs of medical expenses and having to temporarily close my mom's Flower Shop, budgeting has been and will continue to be a difficulty. That is why I as a student and  friend  am reaching out for support in further continuing my education. I'm a rising sophomore at Lesley University in Cambridge, and am hoping to carry on with schooling for it is what my family and I deem best. Lesley offers incredible programs of study for my major of Holistic Psychology, as well as many amazing internship opportunities in the city. Money raised from this GoFundMe will be used for school supplies, costs, and solely educational purposes. Any donation is appreciated, I'm beyond grateful for all of the love and support that I have already received from so many of you.
