Help Chip fight IPF

Chip Foster is one of my best friends. He was diagnosed last year with IPF, (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis). I don't know a lot about this disease except that it is deadly. There is no known cause or cure. Here is a link for more info because I don't know enough to explain:

Chip is working on being on the list to receive a double lung transplant. This is time sensitive as this disease is very progressive. He is in the process of obtaining three required caregivers for the healing period directly following the transplant. There are a lot of hoops to jump.
Chip is an independent artist. He has been very successful until recently. Officially disabled, his ailment has restricted his ability to create as he used to. He is limited by his breath. He only has 30% usage of his lungs. The medications he is on are currently being supplied by the manufacturer, but this will end in March. This will cost $5000.00 per month from there on. Following the transplant, he will have to take 30 different medications. We have no idea what that cost will be at this point. While he does have insurance for now, this too has been a struggle. The State system has lost his information more than once, creating more cost. Giving a feeling of instability. During the period of not having insurance coverage he has incurred thousands of dollars in medical costs and the new cost of insurance is in the thousands.
Unfortunately, he has no living family for support. So this is why I am here. I am asking you to donate to help keep Chip live.
