Lydia Foster Car/Semi-Truck Accident

Don protégé
Dear Friends, our sweet Lydia Foster was in this car yesterday (March 21) when a semi truck broadsided her on the highway south of Moab (five months pregnant with her second baby, Lily Rose).  Lydia's little boy, Arrhen, was in the back seat and escaped injury.  Lydia was life-flighted to two different hospitals in New Mexico (with nine broken ribs, five pelvic fractures and several internal bleeds).  The surgery and transfusions got her stable, but sadly the baby passed away last night from placental detachment (she was born naturally this morning).  Lydia's husband, Enoch, lost his two-year-old son, Adonijah, just 11 months ago.  Lydia is facing a long recovery, and the family has many expenses as well as lost work time for months.

Please pray for Lydia and her family, and donate here to help her if you can.

UPDATE:
Thank you so much to all of you who have donated so far.
Lydia was able to spend time with her baby yesterday, although she is not fully aware yet of what all is going on.  We do not know yet how long she will have to be in the Albuquerque hospital.  She is likely to need surgery on Monday to pin her pelvis, but she was told that the healing of her pelvis will take six months, and she will not be walking for probably six weeks.  She is heavily sedated because of the significant rib and pelvis pain.
We learned that it took an hour for the emergency responders to extricate her (jaws-of-life) from her car.  Thankfully, the internal bleeding was from veins, not arteries, or we would have lost her.  Six airbags deployed.  She was transported to LaSal, then to Blanding, then to Farmington (NM), and finally to Albuquerque.
One possible contributor to the collision was the semi that was parked in the turn lane at the turnoff, obscuring her vision of oncoming traffic.  The driver of the vehicle witnessed the accident and then fled the scene.  He has not yet been found.
We will add updates if there is information about a possible funeral for baby Lily Rose.

Please pray for Lydia and her family, and donate here to help her if you can.
--------------------------------------------2nd Update
Lydia returned home from the hospital yesterday March 29.
The doctors were all impressed with how rapidly Lydia is recovering.  She has 9 broken ribs and 6 pelvis fractures, and has to stay off her feet for five weeks.  The funeral for little Lilly Rose will be soon.
Lydia won’t be able to work for a few months.  She has many family members nearby to help her 24/7.
We are so grateful for all your prayers, support, and generous donations.
The helicopter and plane transfers will run into the hundreds of thousands, so the family has no idea right now what the financial outcomes will be.  We don’t know yet if the trucker who left the accident scene has been found.
