My name is LaToya and in early July I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). It has since spread to her bone marrow making it difficult for me to walk without a walker. In a matter of minutes it seemed like my life took a turn in the wrong direction. I have started my chemo and radiation treatments which has caused me to loose my hair. My family is all located in Southern California but I have a great team of friends who have gathered to help assist me with meals, rides to my doctors appointments, an ear to listen to me and a shoulder to cry on. Sharing my story has not been an easy thing for me to do but having a great team of supporters helps keep me strong.
