Dreams for our Philippines students
Donation protected
Clean drinking water is a basic human necessity and right. Yet, it is heartbreaking to acknowledge that not everyone has access to it. In Mindoro, Philippines, some schools do not have ANY source of clean drinking water at all.
As a social entrepreneurship club, we could not observe an need and take no action. Therefore, two years ago we set on a mission to build a well and baking system at a local filipino school - a project that was able to give students access to clean water and freshly baked foods.
During this project, we were heart-warmed and humbled by the filipino community, who were so welcoming and joyful despite their scarcities. We could not resist going back to help some more.
This year, we are setting out for an even bigger mission to Mindoro (Philippines) with an even larger group. We have three ongoing projects:
1. To build a well and water filtration system for Nilapso Elementary School (Mindoro), which will help provide clean drinking water to all the students and staff.
2. To build a self-sustainable composting system for Calintaan National High School (Mindoro), which could potentially help offset an fertilizer-selling business for the local people and teach students about the process of composting.
3. To educate students by providing workshops on how to start an enterprise, which will be followed by a shark-tank-like competition. The winner of the competition will be granted full scholarship to a local university.
With three massive projects in store, we call for your dear support. Your donations will be used to purchase resources for our projects and make the trip more affordable for all of our club members.
Our projects will benefit a minimum of 500 students in Mindoro, and your support will help us make this happen!
We really hope that you will help us on our journey to help Mindoro students unlock their unimaginable dreams.
We are highly grateful and appreciative for donations of any size.
